SCOUTING UNIVERSITY

Scouting University is an event put on for Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts to earn merit badges/novas/journeys. We also offer our Trail to Eagle program for first-year Scouts to complete many requirements for Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. Scouting University will take place on the campus of Clemson University on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Partial Badges and Pre-Reqs

 

Please note any of the prerequisites that your Scouts will need to complete prior to the event.​​

  • Citizenship in the Community: Reqs 3, 5, 7c

  • Emergency Preparedness: 1, 2c

  • First Aid: Reqs 1, 5a, 5b

  • Citizenship in the nation: 3 (watch news or read newspaper 5 days in a row)

  • Communication: 5, 8

  • Crime Prevention Reqs 4, 5

When registering for a class with Pre-Reqs, you can locate a form at the bottom of your unit registration page to get the Pre-Reqs signed off before coming to SU. You can fill out this form and bring it to the event if you have completed the Pre-Reqs, or you can choose to complete these pre-reqs after the event.
